An instructional soccer program supervised by a highly qualified staff in which campers are placed in small groups according to age and ability.

Morning sessions concentrate on technical skills such as passing, trapping, dribbling, and shooting.

​

The afternoon starts off with another field session comprising of small sided games and other fun competitions.  The extended day campers finish up with rotating schedule of optional open swim, futsal and recreation room time (ping pong, foosball, air hockey, billiards, etc).

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What time is camp check-in each morning?
Check in for camp each day is between 9:00am-9:15am. Staff will be onsite as early as 8:45am for drop off.  By 9:15am the campers are on the field beginning the morning field session.

 

2. What time do we pick campers up at the end of each day?
Campers check out the last 15 minutes of the camp program you have signed up for.  If for any reason you are running late, you can contact the camp at 201-784-9898.  Staff will stay on site until every child is picked up.

3. What do I need to do if someone else is picking up my child?
At check-in in the morning, please provide the camp with a note, text or email stating who will be taking your camper home that day. Please make sure your child is aware of who they should be going home with that day.

 

4. What if I need to pick up my child early?
At check-in in the morning, please let the camp personnel know what time you need to pick up your camper. We will have your camper ready for you at the check in table at the requested time.

 

5. What should campers bring to day camp each day?
Below is a list of items the camper should bring with them each morning for camp:

  • Soccer Ball

  • Cleats

  • Shinguards

  • Soccer Socks

  • Sneaks / Slides

  • Rain Jacket and extra set of clothes if rain is forecasted

  • NOTE: The camp recommends all valuables be left at home. The camp will NOT be held responsible for lost or stolen items brought to camp by the campers.

 

7. What happens if rain is in the forecast?

Camp is still on!  Please be sure your child has indoor sneakers, a rain jacket and extra set of clothes to change into in case we have to move inside.  The camp continuously tracks the radar during the day. If dangerous inclement weather is in the forecast, the campers move into the Bradley Center at the college until the inclement weather passes and it is safe to resume outdoor activities.

9. Is there water available on the fields?
All campers are expected to bring their own water bottle.  Water jugs will be on hand to refill their bottle if needed.

 

10. How can I reach the camp in case of an emergency?
If you have an emergency and need to reach the camp please call 201-784-9898.

In 1977, the North American Soccer League's New York Cosmos franchise developed a youth division, Soccer Camps of America. These summer camps for boys and girls included the Cosmos Soccer Camps, the Pele Soccer Camps, the Franz Beckenbauer Soccer Camps, the Giorgio Chinaglia Soccer Academy, Werner Roth Soccer Safari, Carlos Alberto Soccer Camps. A New York Cosmos executive, Coach Pinton's career spanned 10 years in the NASL as well as with the Italian 1st Division Lazio team. Pinton is a versitile soccer professional with impressive credentials in education and sports management.
